Tactical Self Defense Training (T.S.D.T.). This is REALISTIC EFFECTIVE Self Defense Training...NO Uniforms...NO Katas...and NO Bull!
While our prior participants have included active and retired civil servants (e.g., Police, Firefighters, Corrections Officers and First Responders, etc.), active/retired military members, we currently welcome civilian children, teens and adults who have strong desire to learn effective self-defense methods but who don't desire to sustain serious injury in the process.
In short, we want to KEEP YOU SAFE while we teach you to STAY SAFE!!!
Our Adult Courses are designed to instruct our students in the optimum amount of Self Defense training required to protect their life and the lives of those they're responsible for protecting. Our training is engineered for those who don't have years to devote to becoming a professional M.M.A. Fighter, nor do they have the desire to become one.
Our Child and Teen Courses are designed to instruct our students in the optimum amount of Self Defense training required to protect themselves from bullying, sexual assaults and/or would be kidnappers. Moreover, since recent studies have revealed a direct link between violent behavior exposure and drug/alcohol addiction, we strive to provide our students with the self confidence and coping skills required to positively deal with their stress and anxieties. Furthermore, because our students come from a wide range of religious, social, ethnic and economic backgrounds, our students are naturally exposed to a training environment that promotes both diversity appreciation and tolerance for others.
Tactical Self Defense Training includes a healthy blend of the following:

* Rapid Assault Tactics (These are original Navy SEALTeam Hand To Hand Combat Tactics) * Effective and Efficient Long Gun and Hand Gun Disarms
* Edged Weapon Defense and Offense Strategies
* Muay Thai Striking Techniques
* Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Ground Defense Strategies
* "Hit Where It Hurts" Self Defense Techniques
* Startle Reflex and Response Strategies
* The Physiology and Psychology of Fear
* Tactical Talk
What should our students bring to their training class? A positive desire to learn practical Tactical Self Defense skills. Feel free to bring a water bottle.
In addition, if you have any martial arts gear, such as training knives, training sticks, training guns, M.M.A. style or regular boxing gloves, shin protectors, etc. feel free to bring them. And since we don't wear or require uniforms, please wear comfortable exercise or street clothes.
